Airport regulation for Unmanned Valley

DCMR Rijnmond Environmental Service – the joint environmental service of the Province of Zuid-Holland and fifteen municipalities in the Rijnmond region – has established a temporary airport regulation for Unmanned Valley on behalf of the Province of Zuid-Holland. The regulation makes it possible to use a test area of 500 by 500 metres continuously and flexibly. In time, a corridor to the sea should make BVLOS flights possible.

There is no limit on the number of flights that electrically powered drones up to 25 kg may make. Electric and non-electric powered drones up to 150 kg may be flown a maximum of 1,500 times per year.

A maximum of 50 flights per year may be carried out in the evening (outside the daylight period).
