Drug Labs & Drones at the Ondermijningsfestival

On Thursday, November 21, Unmanned Valley was proud to host the third edition of the Underworld Festival, our largest event to date. With over 400 visitors, 25 stands, and inspiring presentations, it was a day that highlighted the power of collaboration and innovation in the field of undermining. The theme of this edition, ‘Subversion from Above: Sharpen Your Hawk’s Eye’, perfectly aligned with our mission to use technology to address societal challenges.

The festival provided visitors with a unique opportunity to explore the versatility of unmanned technology and its role in combating subversion. From lifelike simulations and VR experiences to masterclasses by specialists, there was plenty of interaction and inspiration. One enthusiastic visitor remarked, “There was so much to see and discuss that I simply ran out of time.”

As an innovative location where technology, research, and practice converge, Unmanned Valley was proud to offer a platform for this important topic. Portfolio holder Anil Soerdjbalie MPA spoke highly of the day: “By making experiences and knowledge visible and sharing them, we are taking steps together toward the effective approach to subversion!” This perfectly aligns with our vision of using technology for a safer society.

We thank Team BOOST of the Police Unit The Hague, all the exhibitors and speakers for their valuable contributions, and of course, all the visitors for their enthusiasm. Together, we demonstrated how technology and collaboration can make a difference.
