Project X finals with NATO & Boeing

After just 12 weeks it was time for the Project X finalists to present their research on ๐˜€๐˜„๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—บ ๐—ฑ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฒ ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ป๐—ผ๐—น๐—ผ๐—ด๐˜† to NATO, Boeing, Ministerie van Defensie and other partners & experts.

The students were given the task of investigating how a large swarm of drones can autonomously carry out complex tasks in an area inaccessible to humans. For example, finding survivors after a natural disaster. During the day we specifically zoomed in on how such an algorithm might operate. Regardless of strict time constraints both teams managed to deliver high quality proposals. Team Dethrone ended up winning with their design of a token-based system .

After the presentations and verdict of the jury, the day was concluded with a drink. We would like to thank all the students and partners for their hard work! We look forward to future collaborations.
